Fresh Market Planogram
The Challenge:
Create a planogram for a grocery store aisle, compare it with a competitor, and make recommendations from the information found.
The brand lesson was to understand the extension of the brand into a retailing space and how product placement, shelf location, positioning, and much more help determine brand perception.
The largest stipulation of the project was that the final planogram had to have two purposes:
1) Help employees stock and place products
2) Help store brand managers develop brand and product strategies
We were assigned Fresh Market's produce section, and to compared them to Whole Foods. Our ultimate recommendations fell under three categories.
1) The Produce Section
2) Customer Service
3) Price and Production
